(WHAS11)  Saturday night at Slugger Field, the Louisville Bats are holding a “Pink Out”!

Players and coaches will wear pink jerseys in support of the Susan G. Komen Foundation and Breast Cancer Research.

The first pitch, against the Rochester Red Wings, is at 6:05 p.m.

Then Sunday, the Bats are celebrating Mother’s Day with a special ticket price of just $1 for all women over 18 years of age.

The first 500 women at the field will receive a free carnation and after the game, moms and kids will head out on the field to “Play Catch with Mom”!

The first pitch Sunday is at 2:05 p.m.

And the Louisville Slugger bat is going pink again this year for Mother’s Day!

Across the country, major leaguers like Derek Jeter, A-Rod and Ken Griffey junior will use their pink Slugger bats during Sunday’sgames.

Afterwards, the bats will be signed and auctioned off to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

It’s the fifth year Slugger has made the pink bats for Mother’s Day.
