Louisville Labor Day festivities set

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The city's Labor Day festivities are set.

Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer made the announcement Thursday morning with performers from World Fest in attendance.

World Fest celebrates different cultures and is expanding to four days this year, beginning Friday, August 30.

Highlights will include world music and a "global village."

The Moyor's Hike, Bike, and Paddle is returing to the Waterfront on Labor Day.

Participants will be able t take part in physical activities like kayakin, yoga, and tai chi.

Labor Day is September 2.
