LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville high school student is behind a project to build and donate a home to a disabled veteran.
Builder Paul Brar and his son Sumeer bought a lot on Idlewylde Drive in Clifton. Sumeer is a high school student at Kentucky Country Day School.
On Monday they broke ground on the new home that will eventually be given to a wounded member of the United States Marine Corps.
The recipient of the house has not been named yet but the family will be found through the Marine Corps Wounded Warrior regiment.
