LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Children at Louisville's Family Scholar House will have more presents this holiday season thanks to Louisville Metro Police and the Kosair Shriners.
On Tuesday Shriners and officers from the fourth division went shopping at the Target on Taylorsville Road.
They are picking up new toys and other gifts for 260 children who live at the Family Scholar House. The organization works with families to help end the cycle of poverty by providing single-parent students with a place to live and other support.
