LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The first day of JCPS is just around the corner! On Monday night, the city is hosting its annual Kindergarten Countdown Fair.
The event organizers hope it helps first-time students get ready for the new school year. Students and parents can get information on immunizations, health screenings, and skills they should know for kindergarten. They can even tour a school bus.
Students and an adult to attend will also get free admission to the Bats game.
The fair runs from 5:30 to 7:30 at Slugger Field on Monday, July 23.
