LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Monday night 3,000 spectators watched one of the strangest and most popular Kentucky Derby Festival events: The Great Bed Races.
For a second year in a row, the Stock Yards Bank Great Bed Races were at the KFC Yum! Center. Contestants put mattresses on wheels and weave their decorated beds around an obstacle course of orange cones.
This year’s winner was Curtain Call Photo Booth with a time of 34.59 seconds followed by West IP Communications and UAW/Ford Assembly Plant.
