LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Kentucky Bluegrass & Bourbon Festival returns to the Louisville Water Tower this weekend on Saturday, August 31st through Monday, September 2nd.
The annual three-day festival known for celebrating the Commonwealth’s musical heritage is one of the region’s most-anticipated events on Labor Day weekend. The festival highlights Kentucky’s musical heritage, bringing together local and national bluegrass performers with traditional and favorite southern foods.
This year the festival adds another Kentucky staple to its lineup – bourbon! The festival’s Bourbon Experience will be housed in an air-conditioned tent, allowing festival-goers to beat the heat while tasting a variety of well-known and “craft” bourbons.

Featured musical acts include Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, Dave Adkins & Republik Steele, The Roys and many more.
The festival is also home to an expansive vendor market showcasing authentic arts and crafts from across the Commonwealth of Kentucky. In addition, the event will feature the Courier-Journal Kids Entertainment Area.
