LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- You may have heard "keep Louisville weird," but how about keeping Louisville classical?
A group of students from the Louisville Classical Academy is trying to keep the past alive and well.
The school, located near Prospect opened just a few years ago. About 75 children grades three through 12 are now enrolled learning the basics and the classics.
The students say all roads lead back to the Iliad from literature, to language to culture. They say it's hip to be classical and it's hip to read Homer.
