Louisville, KY – Gannett Broadcast Service Center has named Joshua Eure Executive News Director supporting WHAS, a Sander Operating Co. In making the announcement, Linda Danna said, “Josh is the dynamic leader that we need guiding our award-winning veteran news team. He brings a tremendous news success record with him having performed at an exceptional level in Phoenix, New York and other major markets. “I am delighted to join the team supporting WHAS11News with its rich legacy in Louisville,” said Eure. “I look forward to leading an exceptional team of journalists. We’ll have a laser focus on big and bold storytelling in front of the camera and behind the scenes. I am also very excited to connect Kentucky and Indiana viewers through our 'on your side' brand.”

Before joining KPNX-TV, Eure worked at ABC News in New York for nearly five years in a variety of roles including Senior Producer at ABC News Now and Coordinating Producer for World News Now and Good Morning America. He worked his way up to those positions as a line producer in Philadelphia (WCAU), Greensboro (WFMY), and his hometown of Baltimore at both WJZ-TV and WBAL-TV.

Eure earned his B.S. in Communications from Morgan State University.  He is also a member of the National Association of Black Journalists. He is married with two daughters and in his spare time, he enjoys a good workout and speaking with high school kids.
