(WHAS11) -- Democrat Steve Stemler from Jeffersonville is the only democrat not supporting the current walkout and this weekend he is holding a town hall.
He wants to hear from residents about the current legislative session.
Democrats in Illinois have had harsh words for him and reportedly republicans are wondering if he might change parties but Stemler says that won't happen.
The town hall will be Saturday morning from 9:30 until 11:30 in the Jeffersonville City Council Chambers.
