LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The city of Louisville is gearing up for the start of its new Halloween tradition. It's called the "Jack O'Lantern" Spectacular and it begins Thursday, Oct. 10.
Forty local artists have carved pumpkins that will be lining a wooded walking trail at the park.
The event runs Thursday through Nov. 2 and the artists will be making new pumpkins every week. The trail will be open from 7 p.m. to midnight during the week and 7 p.m. to one a.m. Friday and Saturday.
Tickets are $9 to $15 with proceeds going to Kosair Charities and the parks foundation.
