LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A candidate for the Jefferson County School Board is facing a lawsuit after allegedly breaking a state law. The suit was filed by two teachers who want Marty Bell to be disqualified from the race.
The teachers say Bell broke the law when he allegedly sent an email to friends, including some other teachers, asking for support for his campaign.
Bell is a former JCPS administrator. He is one of five people running for the school board seat in District 7.
