LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Accidents involving pedestrians are on the rise in Kentuckiana.

Last month, a horrible crash involving a cement truck at 2nd and Main Streets claimed the life of 24-year-old Ryann Tewell who was heading to work at Humana.

Louisville Metro Police want to get the word about the growing problem and to help keep pedestrians safe.
