LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- How about a free movie Thursday?

You and the family can head down to the Riverfront Wharf for the first 2nd Street Flicks Under the Bridge.

Flicks celebrate the film industry and films with local ties.

George Parker with the louisville Film Society  and Keith Brooks from Louisville Downtown partnership stopped by the studio to talk about the program.

The Jackie Robinson Story will open the series Thursday, June 19. Streets open at 7 p.m., the movie bgins at 9 p.m.
