LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)-  Officials with Jefferson County Public Schools are asking for help from hotels or dry cleaners to ensure hundreds of clothes headed to needy children do not become unusable.

A burst pipe flooded a shelf filled with clothes at the district Clothes Closet on South 15th Street.

Officials said there is a chance the clothes will be plagued with mildew.

The Clothes Closet provides clothing for thousands of needy children in Louisville.
