LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Two missionaries traveling the country by horseback made their way through Louisville Tuesday.
Tim and Lynn Tuggle sold everything they owned before the trip and left Northern California in August 2010.
The Tuggles hit the road with their horses and their dog. Their mission – to spread their message and encourages others to pray for our nation, our leaders and our military.
"My wife challenged me to pray for our leaders, rather than be angry at them. and when i began to do that, I began to learn that there were a lot of things inside of me that needed to change that would in turn be useful instead of detrimental to our officials," Tim Tuggle said.
The Tuggles travel about 20 miles each day by horseback. The couple said they are on their way to Memphis and plan to eventually end their trip in North Carolina.
