Louisville, Ky. (July 12, 2014) – Homearama 2014 at Shakes Run will feature eight Energy Smart Homes surrounded by luscious landscapes and large, beautiful trees, as well as four bioswales -  which are a form of green infrastructure - making this year’s Homearama site the most sustainable site ever.

All eight homes are built by members of the Building Industry Association of Greater Louisville, formerly the Home Builders Association of Louisville. Come see what all of the talk is about at Homearama 2014 at Shakes Run, July 12 through 27.

As you tour each uniquely designed home, you will have the chance to speak with many local business representatives. There are more than 400 businesses that participate in the annual event representing products and services used in the Homearama homes.

The event is open weekdays from 5:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.; Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 9:30 p.m.; and Sundays 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Tickets are $10 per person for a single ticket. Children 12 and under are free with a paid adult.

Tickets can be purchased onsite at the Homearama entrance.

Each week night there will be live music played on the entertainment patio, sponsored by Hawkeye Security and Electronics. There will also be special wine and beer tasting events.
