NEW ALBANY, Ind. (News Release) -- Due to winds and inclement weather, the Harvest Homecoming Festival did not open on Sunday, Oct. 14 as scheduled, according to Board Chairman Larry Fisher.
Harvest Homecoming is a group of volunteers dedicated to providing a family oriented festival. It unites the community in a spirit of fellowship and is committed to continuous improvement.
Harvest Homecoming, a festival drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors to New Albany, Ind., has been thriving and growing for 45 years. It was conceived as a means of bringing the people of southern Indiana together to share in its wealth of talent, historic background and beauty.
