Hardin County is now home to a global business with help from Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear.

Flex Films, based in India, will bring 125 jobs to Hardin County by the end of next year and another 125 shortly after that.

The new building will be at the 1200 block of North Black Branch Road.

It will be the first facility in the United States.

They will manufacture products like polyester chips and laminate materials for the packaging industry.

It will bring an investment of $90 million into Elizabethtown.

Headquartered in India, Flex Films operates in Dubai, Mexico and Egypt and will add business to Hardin County.

"Especially when you consider each one of those 250 jobs represents a Kentucky family will be better equipped to survive this difficult economic time," said Governor Steve Beshear.

Flex Films will have invested $180 million into Hardin County over the next year.
