(WHAS11) -- On Friday, dozens of volunteers from GE got out of the office and into the community to help spruce up the Robley Rex VA Medical Center.
About 115 volunteers from GE sales and marketing teams turned out to help repair a quarter-mile walking trial.
The medical center services about 166,000 military veterans throughout 35 Kentucky counties.
The walking trail is a place for veterans and employees to stretch their legs. The volunteers showed up with 20 tons of gravel, weed barrier and mulch.
