Francene Cucinello, host of "Francene Show" on WHAS dies at 43

(WHAS11) - Francene Cucinello, the host of “Francene Show” passed away Friday. She suffered a heart attack on Monday, January 11th followed by a brain aneurysm on Wednesday. Francene passed away at 3:15 p.m. Friday (January 15) at Norton Hospital. She was 43.

The family of Francene released a statement Friday afternoon. In the release, the family says: Francene was an organ donor and we hope that through her unexpected death she can still continue to bring life to others.

Francene loved this community and this community loved Francene. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to support Aneurysm Research at any BB&T branch under the title: Francene Fund. 

There will be no visitation, but the community is invited to a one-hour celebration of Francene’s life on Monday, January 18, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Southeast Christian Church. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Thank you for respecting their privacy.


Francene was the host of the "Francene Show" and joined 84WHAS in October 2003. She also provided news reports on WXIX-TV in Cincinnati, was a regular guest on The Fox News Business Channel  and authored columns in the LEO weekly newspaper.
