Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - Charlestown, Ind. firefighters are staging a 24-hour roadblock on May 23 to raise money for the WHAS Crusade for Children.

The Crusade is set to take place June 7 and 8, but Kentuckiana fire departments are already hard at work collecting to help children with special needs.

The roadblock is at the intersection of Highway 403 and Market Street and will continue until noon on May 24.

A second roadblock will be set up on May 24 in Flodys Knobs, Ind. That roadblock will be set up by the Lafayette Fire Department and will take place at the intersection of Paoli Pike and Scottsville Road.

The Crusade is set to take place on June 7 and 8.
