(WHAS11) Bands are taking the stage at a Fern Creek church Saturday night to raise money for Haiti earthquake victims.
“Wipeout” was just one of the songs played at Hearts of Fire City Church on Bardstown Road.
The event “Hearts for Haiti” is raising money to be forwarded to the Red Cross’s Haiti relief efforts.
Don Pedigo, organizer said, “I was watching some of the footage from Haiti, and it really laid heavy on my heart. With my connections in Louisville to put something together with music, I called Bishop Dan Johnson and he was on board immediately, got his crew together, and here we are.”
“Hearts for Haiti” lasts until midnight Saturday at the chuch.
