Indianapolis, Ind. (WHAS11)- Because the drought is so bad in parts of Indiana, the whole state is now under a water shortage warning.

It’s the second most severe stage and includes a voluntary reduction of 10 to 15 percent of water usage across the state.

Indianapolis is under a severe drought. Some of the reservoirs are extremely low, and water restrictions already are in place there. The governor would have to sign a water shortage emergency to make restrictions mandatory statewide.
