(WHAS11) -- The NAACP and Louisville Links held an event Tuesday at 16th and Broadway to get people registered to vote.
People could drive up and sign up in just a few minutes.
"They say, 'Is that all?' and I've been saying, 'Congratulations, you're a registered voter,'" said Deanna Tinsley with Louisville Links.
Voters were also talking about the important races including Jefferson County School Board and the presidential race.
