(WHAS11) -- Here is video of a man who skydives on a regular basis even though he lost his legs in a skydiving accident in 1994.

Dana Bowman, a retired Army sergeant and double amputee is making a grand entrance to speak with the Rotary Club at Odessa College in Texas. He was on a skydiving team, the Golden Knights (the same team Ben Pine jumped with), back in his army days and lost his legs in an accident. In the same accident, his partner lost his life.

Despite the setbacks, with some convincing, he got to skydive again for the Army as an amputee and now is a regular motivational speaker who speaks nationwide. He has helped lead other amputees to find places in the armed forces.

Upon request, he gladly skydives into his speaking events.

WHAS11's own meteorologist Ben Pine went skydiving a few weeks ago for the first time and had a blast, but admits that it may have been his only time.
