SHEPHERDSVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Students at Bullitt Central High School got a hands on lesson about the dangers of distracted driving.

Students wore "fatal vision goggles" that obscured their vision, then drove through an obstacle course.

The idea was to show how getting behind the wheel while drunk could be a potentially fatal decision.

Thursday's program was presented by Max Koleda and is part of the State Farm Grant.
