LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)—Planning on taking a break from the kitchen after the Thanksgiving cooking frenzy? If so, several Kentuckiana restaurants have came together to create a day that dining out can do some good for a local program.

Wednesday has been dubbed Dining out for Life and patrons to specific restaurants around town will have the opportunity to support the House of Ruth, a care provider for individuals and families affected by HIV and AIDS in the community.

Click the player to see an interview with Tim Koons McGee, of Comfy Cow, and find out more about this special day to dine out.
