LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A bike race that has never been outside of Europe is taking place here in Louisville.
The UCI Masters Cyclocross World Championships will continue until Sunday at Eva Bandman Park. Over 500 cyclists from 12 different countries are competing.
Cyclocross is a form of bike racing that combines wooded trails, steep hills, and obstacles that require the rider to actually get off their bike. This is just the first of three World Championship bike races being held here in Louisville.
