LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Louisville's Waterfront and the changes over the years have made it a gem in this community.

It has come with a great deal of investment and many residents and community leaders don't want that destroyed by what happened with the mob of teenagers.

Among those concerned is longtime journalist Bob Hill, who is working to bring a botanical garden to the waterfront as well.

After the violence, he put on Facebook the shame it is to let the one instance tarnish all everyone has worked for, so he's getting people to walk with him.

The walk is across the bridge and it is planned for March 30 at 1 p.m.
