LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Kids at Christian Academy got a chance to get basketball training from the Kentucky Wildcats. It was all part of the John Calipari Satellite Basketball Camp. The kids worked on drills and even participated in a free throw completion.
Jaxon Gaddie, 11, won the free throw contest. Now he’ll get to go to Rupp Arena and shoot free throws during Big Blue Madness.
“I’m a really big Kentucky fan,” said Jaxon. “And my dad’s going to be happy too.”
The kids were able to meet Coach Calipari, get autographs and have their pictures taken with the National Championship Trophy.
