CLARK CO., Ind. (WHAS11) - - A big investment could mean big projects are to come to the Clark County Regional Airport.
The plan consists of nearly $3.3 million in grants from the Federal Aviation Administration. Clark County will have to pitch in $223,000.
The money will be spent on road projects and the purchase of land near the airport.
The plan must be approved by the county council and The Clark County Board of Aviation those commissioners are set to meet in August.
There are also plans to extend a runway at the airport by 2,500feet.
