LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- The boyhood home of the late Supreme Court Justice Louis D. Brandeis in Louisville will soon have a historical marker honoring it.
A University of Louisville freshman, 18-year-old Andrew Segal, helped get the marker made and installed and raised $2,250 to pay for it.
The Brandeis home is on East Broadway and now houses the University of Louisville Division of Dermatology and other offices.
The Courier-Journal (http://cjky.it/SrbN7u ) reports that Segal became involved in the project after visiting Brandeis' former home on a tour of historic Jewish sites.
The marker will be unveiled at 4 p.m. EST Sunday at 310 E. Broadway.
Brandeis, who was born in 1856, served on the U.S. Supreme Court from 1916 to 1939 and died in 1941.
