(WHAS11) -- Nathan Hamada loves soccer and hopes to make the team at Barret Middle School.
It’s a goal but he's got a lot more to offer. With a radiant smile and fun personality, he's one smart 6th grader, who doesn't have a big brother despite a great effort.
I asked him about waiting for six months, “It’s been long, but I can get through it”, he told me.
Nathan has such a great attitude and his mom Valaida is hoping for the best big brother out there.
He's clearly an athletic talent, but I loved what he told me about his grades at Barret. I asked him if he’s a good student, “Yes, that’s what I think,” Nathan said.
What confidence! Valaida has raised him with simple reminders about life.
He may still be waiting for that perfect big brother, but when it comes to his future, there's no stopping him. He said he’d like to be a soccer player, or an investment banker.
