Arne Duncan visits Louisville to discuss education

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan stopped in Louisville, Thursday morning, to stress the importance of early childhood education.

Duncan, along with Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway, Mayor Greg Fischer and other leaders held a round table discussion at the St. Benedict Center in West Louisville.

Duncan unveiled a plan that includes giving one million children nationwide access to high quality, early education.
