(WHAS11) -- A Louisville father who became very involved in the community after his three sons were killed in a car accident was honored Saturday, two months after his death.
Dozens of people showed up Saturday evening to honor Marc Hampton at 26th and Wilson, the site where his three sons; Jamar, Demar and Marc Claybrooks are memorialized.
The three boys were killed in 2008, when the stolen car they were riding in crashed during a police pursuit.
Hampton died recently of health problem, but before his death became an advocate for relatives of homicide victims.
