Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The Dare to Care Food Bank and the Interfaith Paths to Peace are making a public plea for support at next month's Hunger Walk.
The 36th annual Hunger Walk will raise money for Dare to Care. The event was the first public issue walk in Louisville.
This year's Hunger Walk is on Sunday, September 15 at the Waterfront Park Festival Plaza.
The 5-k beings at 2:15 p.m. and will take walkers and runners on a course along the riverfront. There's also a family festival from noon to 4:30 p.m. Registration is $25 for adults and $15 for children. Click here for more information.
