CHARLESTOWN, Ind. (WHAS11)- The principal of Charlestown High School will not be keeping his job after being arrested for DUI last year.

The Greater Clark County Schools Board voted last night not to renew the contract of Principal Keith Hedges.

Hedges was pulled over last September on Highway 111 in Floyd County.

Police say his blood alcohol level was nearly three times the legal limit.

Hedges will be reassigned as a teacher next year, but it is not known which school.
