BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) -- Three people have been chosen to join the Gov. Louie B. Nunn Kentucky Teacher Hall of Fame.
They are Eloise Hadden, who taught home economics for 33 years in Logan and Simpson counties; Anne Padilla, who has taught English and composition for 50 years, including the past 27 at Bowling Green High School; and Juanita Park, who began teaching in 1944 in Ohio County and continued to work with student teachers at Western Kentucky University until 2012.
Induction is scheduled for 1 p.m. EST Feb. 26 at the Capitol in Frankfort.
Western Kentucky University, which is home to the Hall of Fame, announced the selections Wednesday. The Hall of Fame was created in 2000 through a gift by Nunn, who was governor from 1967 to 1971.
