Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - Here's what's happening in Louisville!
Today is the final day of the Derby City Comic Con. More than 225 exhibitors will be at the Kentucky Convention Center in downtown.
Doors open at 10 a.m. and tickets are $10 at the door. New this year, there'll be a costume contest for kids beginning at 3 p.m.
There's also a silent auction with proceeds benfitting Kosair Childern's Hospital.
My Magpie's Nest Event
You and your pup can go shopping together at the My Magpie's Nest event in New Albany.
There'll be about 25 vendors, many offering pet-related items. There will also be food trucks, wine and beer tastings and barbeque.
The event begins at 11:30 a.m. and runs until 6 p.m. in the 1600 block of E. Market Street.
Jeffersontown Splash Park
Jeffersontown is hosting a grand opening of its new splash park Monday, June 30 at Skyview Park.
The Splash Park is 2200 square feet with 26 water features for all ages.
Skyview Park already has softball, baseball and football fields along with playgrounds and pavilions.
The new splash park opens to the public tuesday.
