ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (WHAS11) -- This was the day that Elizabethtown celebrates the best in education.
They declared it Wesley Rogers Day in Hardin County in honor of Elizabethtown's newest Excel Award winner.
The Elizabethtown independent school district honors just one teacher every school year.
And our Gary Roedemeier is just back from Morningside Elementary School where he presented the Excel Award to a second grade teacher.
