IRAQ (WHAS11) - Kentucky National Guard soldiers in Iraq celebrated Thanksgiving a little early.
That is because all the dining facilities are closing as the soldiers prepare to head home for Christmas.
As one of the soldiers in the 149th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade explains, they did get one last hot meal, and what a meal it was.
The troops are working Thanksgiving and helping redeploy troops from Iraq by the end of the year.
