KERRI RICHARDSON
Kerri Richardson

Kerri Richardson joined WHAS-11 in December 2002. She's a native of Shelbyville and graduated summa cum laude from Western Kentucky University with a double major in broadcasting and government.
Kerri knew from an early age that she wanted to be a reporter. Her parents said that when she was a baby, she knew the music for WHAS 11 News - and they have pictures of Kerri watching former anchor Jim Mitchell from her playpen.
While Kerri was a Hilltopper, she won two national debate championships and an international debate title on Western's speech and debate team. Kerri has also won numerous AP awards for her student work at Western and her reports at WBKO in Bowling Green. She worked in Evansville before returning home to Kentucky.
