Expect plenty of sunshine to close out the week on this Friday so we should see a nice recovery in temperatures with afternoon highs into the low and mid-60s. We are set-up for a tranquil, dry and pleasant stretch of weather for Thunder over Louisville this weekend. High pressure will dominate into Saturday so conditions should be nice for all the festivities. Visibilities look good and cloud ceilings shouldn’t be an issue for the airshow with mostly sunny skies and highs into the mid to upper 60s. A few clouds should drift in later in the day. Temperatures will drop back into the mid and upper 50s for the fireworks display so the evening looks very pleasant as well.
The quiet weather should stick around to end the weekend Sunday with a storm system out to our west as highs remain in the mid-60s despite more in the way of clouds. Even though that next system should pass by to our south, some upper level energy on the north side could produce a few showers to begin the week on Monday. A little better chance of showers is possible into the mid-week as a cold front slides into the area from the northwest. Afternoon highs should stay slightly below average for late April into the mid to upper 60s. Have a great Friday, enjoy Thunder over Louisville and be safe!
