LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- An emergency demolition request has been made for a building in West Louisville that's in danger of collapsing.

Firefighters were called to a vacant structure on South 28th Street near West Market on Oct. 25.

You may remember, South 28th Street is the same street where a building collapsed in July, killing a man.

City departments had repeatedly visited the market and filed orders to close the store including just a few days before the collapse.
