LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) -- Kentucky Senator and Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is making his picks for the 2017 NCAA tournament.
McConnell filled out his bracket with ABC's Rick Klein and ESPN's Andy Katz on Wednesday.
The Senator's Final Four features two Kentucky teams, Louisville and UK, then Duke and Arizona.
To win it all, McConnell is going with Louisville. He admits it's a decision he's making with his heart, rather than his head.
So why does he pick Louisville over Kentucky?
"I like both of 'em. I went to Louisville undergraduate, Kentucky law school, but if they play for each other I'm for Louisville. I think people tend to pull for their undergrad school, but I pull for both of them. I like both Calipari and Pitino a lot,” McConnell said.
The senator also showed off some of his sports memorabilia in his D.C. office, including his UK and UofL basketballs.
