OLDHAM CO., Ky. (WHAS11) -- Great news about the Oldham County teenager who suffered a traumatic brain injury in 2016. Tristan Ballinger is back in school.
The Ballinger was hit in the forehead with a sword and was hurt so badly he has had to receive occupational, physical and speech therapy.
His speech improved so much he is now attending school three days a week and has assistance while he is there.
He and his family couldn't be happier.
