Shelter opens in Trimble Co. for flooding victims

The American Red Cross has opened the Morgan Community Center in nearby Bedford as a shelter for Trimble County residents, but no pets are allowed.

TRIMBLE CO., Ky. (WHAS11) -- The Ohio River is out of its banks in Trimble County where emergency crews have set up a shelter for anyone who must leave their homes.

The American Red Cross has opened the Morgan Community Center in nearby Bedford as a shelter for Trimble County residents, but no pets are allowed. The address is 147 Victory Avenue 4006 in Bedford.

Trimble County Emergency Management asks that you only bring clothing, medications and basic necessities to the center.
