LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)--The widespread flooding is being blamed for another big problem across the metro.

Many neighborhoods have been pointing out issues with potholes.

The annual Pothole Blitz conducted by Metro Public Works is kicking off about three weeks earlier than last year, thanks to mother nature.

Everyone is urged to call in about any potholes that need to be fixed.

Public Works will handle the city street potholes, and any potholes on interstate highways should be reported to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet at 1-877-For-KYTC (367-5982).
