Police said they have seen an Instagram post circulating on social media that may be connected to the shooting and it is part of the investigation.

JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) -- Police in Jeffersonville released new information about a deadly shooting at a Big-O Tire Store Wednesday, July 10.

Police said they have seen an Instagram post circulating on social media that may be connected to the shooting and it is part of the investigation.

Clark County prosecutor Jeremy Mull said he plans to file charges of murder, possession of marijuana, and carrying a gun without a permit against 19-year-old Bobby Powell on Monday.

"The evidence I have at this point is that the defendant did shoot an unarmed coworker while they were performing work at the Big-O after a verbal altercation,” Mull said.

Police said they're aware of ongoing issues between the two but hadn't heard of any reported violence.
